Seated-perculatin'

Here's Foniks (dunks) and Mawkus (afro) cold-chillin' at the VooDoo Lounge at the Mountain Bar in Chinatown, LA. (http://themountainbar.com/) Our man Velanche was spinnin that night with Mbela. "Foniks said it was 'soulsonic'. The dude that opened up dropped some ill reggae dub styles and Mbela dropped some wicked neo-soul, mixed in with some CLASSICS... fuckin' Groove Theory x Dilla?!?" Damn, wish I coulda been there. If you can't tell by the pics, it sure was a fun night. If your in LA LA Land, best find that spot and start frequenting.

Finally, Miami. The time change isn't that bad once you get used to the humidity. For some reason, the neon on everything reminds me of coachella. There's something comforting about walking around and hearing wonderful afro-centric, cuban, reggeton, booty, and ghetto music with dancers of all ages feelin' every beat. No wonder Will Smith made a song about it. Our cab drive from Ft. Lauderdale airport drove a high-class Lincoln and spoke like Tego Calderon.

Here's some new Spankrock w/Benny Blanco (together make Bangers and Cash) to get you in the Miami mood.
