Club 91 on KCPR: Blindside and Froi Frou Doing the Business

Things went all crazy town in the KCPR studio, as Blindside returns to unleash some newness, while he brings with him Froi Frou for his debut appearance on the show. It was a good one, so all you need to do is to get the show and simply enjoy it!

Club 91 on KCPR - Audiobit and Patch Werk in the House!

As we approach the end of the quarter at Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, we're close to closing out the quarter at KCPR. Last week, we were fortunate to have in the studio Audiobit, who's been racking up gig after gig in his short time as a DJ and producer. The show kicks off with his friend and fellow DJ Patch Werk warming up heavy. We hope you enjoy the two DJ's, along with our usual banter and some quality interview time. Just one more show to go for the quarter, so stay tuned...

As always, be sure to right-click (or ctrl-click) on the blog post title to grab the show. (Unless you're already subscribed to the podcast on iTunes, which we encourage you to do!)

Booty Poppin' In Yo Face

Usually when I think of Machinedrum, I think of weird glitch-hop and cold weather. This track makes me think otherwise. By the way, I really love where bass is going these days.

Critical Me

I wanted to write about this producer but I won't. Serious frequencies on this one.

Modeselektion

Y'all need this compilation in your lives. It's got crazy bass bangers and other rando gut bass shit that'll test your stomach enzymes potential. Huge shout outs to the homie Elan, who I've blogged about before on here, that has a track on this comp. But on the real though, I'm just stoked that this future classic I've had on repeat since day one finally got released.

Bright Lights

Lately, a lot of bass DJs have been playing either the Rockers or Joker mix of this banger but I've only been a fan of the OG slow jam edit with none other than the OG rapper, Big Daddy Kane, droppin' a nice 16. It's definitely a grown and sexy necessity.

Troof Music

James Blake is making some eloquently warm existential bass right now that would equate to what dopamine would sound like if flowers could make music. Personally, I can see a lot of his music being the soundtrack to my Sunday lucid dreams. Put the bass on high as you listen to this breath-taker.
