Club 91 on KCPR - Audiobit and Patch Werk in the House!

As we approach the end of the quarter at Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, we're close to closing out the quarter at KCPR. Last week, we were fortunate to have in the studio Audiobit, who's been racking up gig after gig in his short time as a DJ and producer. The show kicks off with his friend and fellow DJ Patch Werk warming up heavy. We hope you enjoy the two DJ's, along with our usual banter and some quality interview time. Just one more show to go for the quarter, so stay tuned...

As always, be sure to right-click (or ctrl-click) on the blog post title to grab the show. (Unless you're already subscribed to the podcast on iTunes, which we encourage you to do!)

French Tecktonik Taste!

I know I should be writing one of the three papers I got going on but I just needed to post this epic video. The song, the girls, the dancing, it's infectious and so amazingly original! If you haven't been up on it, kids in Paris have started this dance craze called "tecktonik" which combines hip-hop and techno dancing styles. You can totally see the pop-lock infused vogue-wacking going on. So deeeeep. This video totally reminds me of the last time I was in Japan, wandering past a 7-11 at 4am, drunk and lost, seeing Japanese kids in front practicing their moves to Wild Child breaks blasting out of their next level Sony-NEC-Fujitsu boomboxes from '93. Oh yeah, and this song is a necessity. Swedish House Mafia in effect! Axwell killin' it as always!
