Boys of Summer

The boys have been having a productive summer.

Lord FoFo did a live set at the 1st Annual Berkeley Beat Swap Meet. That's him in the upper right. The dude is still on that sub-level analog networking steez, so a lot of his set was new to my ears and I even heard the makings of a new track he started up in the loft. A few weeks later back in LA, he had round 3 of his Backyard Boogie at his crib. Lots of beats, vibes, and wavy culinary that lasted long after sundown. Say no names and check out a few perspectives here and here. Currently, the lengthy lock is on one hell of a hustle bender running graphics for Mawkus' Doo Doo Roo and (SD + SF) Sweet Cheeks series while maintaining steady work as a line cook and overall grind. Rumor tells its all on a poor boys budget in preparation for a fall tour of India.

Speaking of dolphin sounds, Mawkus just returned from New York, attending the Latin American Music Conference. NONE of us can wait to see what his experience has done of him. Here's proof. And finally, Sweet Cheeks has a tumblr.

GO TO IT AND TURN IT ON WHEN THAT SPECIAL PERSON COMES OVER.
